Michael Leonhard
Michael recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelors degree in computer science. He was inspired by Dr. Richard Hamming's talk, [http://www.cse.nd.edu/resources/hamming.html You and Your Research], to study great problems. Micropayments is one great problem that caught Michael's interest. In the future, he wishes to study many other great problems:
- general virtual machines and supervision trees for security, reliability, and scalability
- a general digital object model providing persistance, assignability, trading, escrow, etc.
- user interaction with multiple applications in a single 3D space
multilingual interfaces (typing, voice recognition & lip reading, stylus writing, text display, voice synthesis, sign language, non-audio-visual interfaces)
